Ariadna Naveira and Fernando Sánchez first decided to become a couple in life in 2007 and in 2008 they began their time together as a professional dance couple. His first steps were in the tango show at the legendary Café Tortoni, led by Flavio Catuara. Then came the exhibitions in the most emblematic Buenos Aires milongas such as Salón Canning, La Viruta, Sunderland, thus giving clear recognition to the new duo. Quickly, a year after starting this path together, they became part of the international scene, participating in the most prestigious festivals, visiting more than 40 countries and hundreds of cities. Time and work led them to create their first theatrical show “La Evasión – dream or reality” with a group of dancers and friends (Martín Maldonado, Maurizio Ghella, Cecilia Capello and Diego Amorín). The music was provided by the Moscow Tango Orchestra and they performed in Buenos Aires with 4 shows to a full house on Paseo La Plaza, and then toured China, Denmark and France. They have developed several seminars that approach dance from a structural and functional point of view and that have served hundreds of couples who today use their method and knowledge. They are widely recognized for their seal and personality not only by the common or demanding public but also by their peers. Fernando's other great project together with Jorge Vacca, Argentine DJ and journalist, was the development of a new magazine which they called METAFIERRO (www.metafierro.com). The most important people, representatives of music, literature, and dance collaborate in it, giving the world of Tango a young and avant-garde look that aims to relaunch it without abandoning its roots.
